Mark Nwagwu, a professor of cell and molecular biology, lived an unforgettable life as an undergraduate at University College, Ibadan, 1957-61. He took his Ph.D. at the University of Stockholm, sweden, and did landmark research at the University of Connecticut, USA and Brock University, Canada as Associate Professor of Biological Sciences before his return to the University of Ibadan in 1976 from which he retired in 2002.
