Celestine Chidozie Kezie Jr. is a Lecturer at the Institute of Humanities (IOH), Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy (Summa cum Laude) from Imo State University and an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Ibadan where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. Celestine holds a Diploma in Cyber Communication from the Universidad Austral Buenos Aires, Argentina.
His research interest encompasses Metaphysics, Anthropology, Media ethics, environmental ethics, and philosophy of education. Celestine has been in the higher education space as a lecturer for over a decade. He was formerly a journalist with Western News Communications, Ibadan. And also a researcher at the Carrington Executive Training School, Ibadan.
Since 2011, he has been active in the digital space as a public affairs analyst and a political commentator. He has contributed opinion pieces to Business Day Newspaper and many online media organizations. He is currently a member of the IOH Management Board, and the Director of Eleko Study Centre, a center for extra-curricular activities at Pan-Atlantic University. Celestine served on the PAU Online Examinations Committee during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He currently serves as the chairman of the Technical Committee of the Education Collaborative, West African Hub – a network of universities in Africa that collaborate in knowledge exchange and research projects aimed at Africa’s development. He is a member of the West African Research and Innovation Management Association (WARIMA), Ethics and Technology Graduate Group (ETGG), and the Association of Media and Communication Researchers of Nigeria (AMCRON). He is passionate about youth mentoring and is committed to social transformation through Education.
