Pan-Atlantic University Press is pleased to announce the call for proposals for two textbooks to be published in the 2025/2026 academic session. Following the success of our inaugural call for textbook proposals in 2023, which produced manuscripts such as “A Beginners Guide to Logic & Critical Thinking” and “Structure of the Nigerian Economy: A Modern Approach,” we are excited to continue this initiative. Aligned with Pan-Atlantic University’s Strategic Plan (2022-2027), this call emphasizes the importance of teaching and learning, aiming to enhance knowledge dissemination and academic excellence. We aspire to be the beacon of knowledge production in Africa by fostering high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly publications and original academic research. Faculty members are invited to submit proposals for textbooks that meet the following criteria: – Content Outline: Clearly outline chapter titles and descriptions, including major subheads that are descriptive of the content. – Intended Audience: Define the target readership, quantify the market size, and explain why the book addresses their needs. – Originality: Demonstrate that the textbook contains new and significant information justifying publication. – Implications for Research, Practice, and/or Society: Identify the implications for research, practice, and society, showcasing how the book contributes to teaching, public policy, and research. – Quality of Communication: Ensure the use of clear and simple language appropriate for the intended readership. – Competing Resources: List alternative books and explain how your proposal offers a more appealing alternative. – Clarity and Discoverability: Choose descriptive titles and chapter headings to aid understanding and discoverability.
